Make hay while the sun shines

Isn’t it a great moment, when unexpectedly, we have opportunities knocking at our door? Well, that might not happen often, but when it does, we should try and make the most of it.

As the saying goes, “make hay while the sun shines.” The proverb that is often used means to make use of opportunities or favorable conditions while they last. There are times when we don’t value things that matter the most to us or rather take things for granted, only to regret them later. Time is a good example for everyone, especially children.

Many a times studying a lesson is left to be a last minute thing among students, leaving them to get all worked up and tensed during exam time. So, like mentioned earlier friends, isn’t it better to make hay while the sun shines in this case and every other case for that matter.

To reflect upon

Have you been in a situation when you regretted a lost chance? How has it changed you?

Very well written…. Always look out for opportunities. It's never dark always. Look outside , it maybe shining. Make the best of whatever you get.
