Dr. Hari Prasad Kanoria

Dr. Hari Prasad Kanoria, LLB; D. Litt is an industrialist, banker, journalist, educationist, philanthropist, social awakener with the mission and vision for enhancing spiritual value service to humanity and taking up the cause for women awakening. He gets his inspiration from the teachings of Paramhansa Shri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Paramhansa Yogonandaji, holy scriptures and other great personalities. He completed his education from Presidency & St. Xavier’s College and Bachelor of Law from Calcutta University and became an Advocate at the Calcutta High Court. He also held a legal assignment as the Judge of Lok-Adalat, Calcutta High Court.

Manisha Kanoria Lohia

Manisha Kanoria Lohia is a Montessori Director, Kathak Teacher and a Mother. She graduated with an Accountancy Honours but her passion to work with children has inspired her to explore different possibilities with them. Her love and respect for developing children as ‘Independent Individuals’ has been the key factor in the conceptualisation of a place like iSpark. Her main sources of inspiration have been her Father – Dr.H.P.Kanoria, her Brother – Hemant Kanoria, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and above all, her guru Mahatria Ra.

Vedant Raj Lohia
(Executive Director)

Vedant, son of Manisha and grandson of Dr. H P Kanoria, is the youngest of the lot in the Team. His never-ending smile attracts the young minds towards him. Bubbling with ideas and making sure that execution does not bat an eyelid, is his role in this burgeoning world of iSpark Studio and the E-Mag.

A Senior Journalist, Editor, and a Columnist with The Hindu, Nikhil’s specialty is content management for websites and print publications.

Susan Philip

A freelance journalist based in Chennai, she writes and edits for various publications, both in print and online. She has authored several informative books for children, including a series on Indian History.

Kanchana Rao

A bibliophile, she doesn’t just love books, but devours them. Ideas and story themes are jotted down in a diary in her kitchen, her creative field! These eventually find their way into children’s and women’s magazines in their full forms.

Deepthi Bhattathiri
(Freelance Writer)

A freelance writer based in Bangalore, passionate about writing short stories and poems, especially for small children. A few of her works were published in Magic Pot, a children’s magazine and she has worked as a producer with Kochu TV, a Malayalam channel for kids.

Yamini Vasudevan

Yamini Vasudevan is a writer who loves to dabble in all topics under the sun (except those that involve math). She harbours hopes of travelling to every country on this planet and picking up a whole lot of wonderful stories along the way.

Janaki has always loved stories – telling them, selling them, acting them out and living them. A media professional with over 22 years of experience, she co-founded Golpo-Tales Unlimited, a storytelling initiative for all age groups, to spread her love for stories.
