When is National Security Day celebrated?

National Security Day is celebrated on 4th March every year to observe and praise the work of various security forces in India. It is also known as the Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas.

This day is dedicated to all the security forces of India who are always working for constantly for the peace and security of the people of India. This day reminds us of those innumerable security forces like policemen, commandos, and officers of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force who are working for our country’s security, their innumerable scarifies and the obstacles which they fight against (the various external threats and internal rebellion) to maintain peace for us to lead normal lives.
